Lefty Headtubes machined in Ti

Many discerning cross-country mountain bikers riding 29'er these days are falling in love with Cannondale Lefty suspension forks due to the unique look, light weight, stiffness, and suspension features, i.e. fluid suspension and lockout ability.   At 1333 grams it is hard to beat a Lefty in weight when comparing it to other traditional styled suspension forks.  The best way to outfit a Lefty onto a custom frame is to have a special headtube welded in place which allows for perfect component integration. Pictured above are some titanium headtubes I machined up over the weekend that will fit the Lefty fork.  Stay tuned ....these custom Lefty headtubes will be used on several new ti frames I will be working on in the next few weeks.--Scott Quiring
